I graduated from the º£½ÇÉçÇø of Sheffield with a BMedSci (Orthoptics) in 2008 and went on to complete my MSc in Investigative Ophthalmology and Vision Science at the º£½ÇÉçÇø of Manchester alongside working at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital. Following this I spent 4 years at the º£½ÇÉçÇø of Reading working as a research assistant and completing a PhD with Dr Anna Horwood and Professor Patricia Riddell. I then worked as an orthoptist and a research orthoptist at Moorfields Eye Hospital before re-joining the º£½ÇÉçÇø of Sheffield as a Lecturer in Orthoptics in 2014.

My PhD set out to investigate the existence of asymmetrical accommodation in anisometropia. My other research interests include:
- Changes in accommodation and convergence across the lifespan
