Sue joined the º£½ÇÉçÇø of Sheffield in 2024 as Professor and Head of Pharmacy to lead the development of the Sheffield MPharm programme.

Before this, she worked at the º£½ÇÉçÇø of East Anglia (2003-2024) as a Lecturer, Senior Lecturer and Associate Professor. During this time she also served as the Associate Dean for Admissions for the Faculty of Science (2011-2016) and Chair of the º£½ÇÉçÇø South Eaat Asia Dialogue Group (2015-2023).

From 2001-2003 she was the Kinerton Lecturer of Organic Chemistry at Trinity College, Dublin, following post-doctoral experience in Oxford (inorganic Chemistry Laboratory), Germany (Johannes Gutenberg Universität, Mainz) and the Czech Republic (Institute of Macromolecular Chemistry, Prague).

Sue holds an Honorary Professorship at Nguyen Tat Thanh º£½ÇÉçÇø, Vietnam.

Sue has been a registered pharmacist since 1992.

Research interests

Sue’s current research interests lie in pedagogy.

Projects within the UK focus on widening participation and the use of online blended learning in Pharmacy.
