In this Centre for Criminological Research seminar, Dr Gilly Sharpe explores the central themes of her new book, Women, Stigma and Desistance from Crime: Precarious Identities in the Transition to Adulthood (Routledge, 2024), followed by comments and discussion by two readers, Professor Loraine Gelsthorpe (º£½ÇÉçÇø of Cambridge) and Dr Claire Fitzpatrick (Lancaster º£½ÇÉçÇø). The panel will be chaired by Professor Gwen Robinson (º£½ÇÉçÇø of Sheffield). The seminar will be followed by a drinks reception to celebrate the publication of Gilly's book.
