Akita International ��������, AIU, is a four-year liberal arts university located in Akita prefecture in the Tohoku region of northern Japan. AIU is located in Akita city, the capital of Akita prefecture (population about 960,000), an ideally-sized city to provide the opportunity to get immersed in the friendly, local culture while also offering convenient access to international goods and services.

Rikkyo ��������

Rikkyo �������� started in 1874 as Rikkyo School, a small private school teaching English and Bible studies in the foreign settlement in Tsukiji, Tokyo. The School was founded by Bishop Channing Moore Williams, a missionary dispatched from the American Episcopal Church.

Ritsumeikan ��������

Ritsumeikan �������� traces its origins back to 1869. It is now a university of around 35,000 students, situated in the city of Kyoto.

The �������� of the Ryukyus, abbreviated to Ryūdai, is a national university of Japan in Okinawa Prefecture. It is located in the Senbaru neighbourhood of the town of Nishihara, with its campus bordering both the village of Nakagusuku and the city of Ginowan.
