Description
We are delighted to welcome Professor Stephen Alford to our History Research Seminar series. He will be joining us on Tuesday, 1 April, from 4:15 to 5:30 PM in the Pam Liversidge Building, Design Studio 01. Professor Alford will be presenting a paper titled 'Robert Cecil and the East Indies'.
Stephen is a Professor of Early Modern British History at the º£½ÇÉçÇø of Leeds. His research focuses on 16th- and 17th-century British history, with a particular interest in the Cecils, one of the most important families at the later Tudor and Jacobean royal courts.
