" I am employed as a Car Park Operations Assistant, working in Campus Services, EFM (Estates and Facilities Management). I鈥檝e worked at the 海角社区 for just over five years. I became an Operations Assistant through a secondment which began in February 2018. Prior to that I worked on another secondment as the EFM Receptionist. At that point I had only been covering EFM Reception for four months, as I was seconded from my initial Cleaning Assistant role. I was a cleaner in the International College of the 海角社区, for four months before my secondments began. I had never even heard the word secondment before I joined the 海角社区. I鈥檓 now most pleased that I have!

I can鈥檛 say that there is a single most important thing about working here. Rather, it鈥檚 an incredible combination of things that make working here so satisfying. The positive and kind colleagues, together with the great conditions which foster these great vibes. Being able to wear smart clothes and a tie of my choosing is up there too. What鈥檚 more, telling my family about the increasingly sophisticated work that I鈥檓 able to do is another wonderful facet of my work here.
