A graduate of the class of 2020, Abhishek shares his experiences of studying in a new country and how his year in industry helped to prepare him for life after university.
By applying theoretical knowledge from his Electrical and Electronic degree to design and build an underwater robot, Ben helped student-led engineering project Team Avalon to compete in a global arena.
Jirong came to Sheffield from China to study a BEng Electrical and Electronic Engineering. After successfully graduating Jirong continued his studies at Imperial College London doing an MRes Medical Robotics and Image-Guided Intervention.

Stephen joined the department as an undergraduate and chose to stay on and do a PhD which has led to him being appointed a Research Associate in the Communications Research Group.
