Anouschka
MEng Electrical and Electronic Engineering
Third year student Anouschka was in the winning team in the Sir William Siemens Challenge 48 hour Hackathon and has won a 12 month placement with Siemens. She describes her role in the team and why she would recommend taking part in events like this.
Aditi
BEng Electronic and Communications Engineering with a Year in Industry
Due to her love of maths Aditi chose to study a BEng in Electronic and Communications Engineering with a Year in Industry and has also been elected as Vice-President for the EEE Society which is the department's student society.
Final year student Sam has been named by The Manufacturer as one of the top 50 young people 'making manufacturing smarter' in 2021. He has made the most of his time at º£½ÇÉçÇø including having two placements at Siemens, being President of the EEE Society and now securing a graduate job with Siemens.

MEng Digital Electronics (now Electronics and Computer Engineering)
Arthur shares how taking a Science and Engineering Foundation Year allowed him to develop his skills and knowledge to ensure he was in the best position to start his degree in Electronic and Electrical Engineering.
Tudor
BEng Electronics and Communications Engineering
Tudor chose a degree with a Year in Industry to have the opportunity to have access to work in different environments which he achieved during his year long placement at McLaren.
I really wanted to study engineering, but I didn’t want to just focus on one field. Then I found out about this course, and I decided to study General Engineering. The thing that I enjoy most about this course is that I can learn things from more than one field of engineering.
